CURRENT OPENINGS

Electro-Mechanical Tech I

  • Reports To: Director of Operations
    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Summary:
    Responsible for performing electro-mechanical assembly, machine operation, soldering and testing functions of varying complexity using engineering work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
    º Following and working IAW wiring diagrams, product drawings and written instructions;
    º Assembly functions requiring expertise in drawing interpretation to complete job at hand;
    º Soldering of parts IAW current J-STD-001
    º Capable of Initiating and performing electrical testing functions per instruction;
    º Learning to operate all shop floor equipment/hand tools for assembly;
    º Self-inspecting parts in addition to utilizing electronic testing instruments;
    º Ensuring all required quality procedures are followed including 1st article inspection;
    º Maintaining an organized and clean work station;
    º Adhering to safety procedures and wearing personal protection equipment (PPE) as required by job assignment;
    º Helping improve work instructions and documentation on existing and new production;
    º Following all company guidelines regarding conduct, safety, and documentation where required
    º Check parts using various hand inspection tools example: micrometers, calipers gage pins
    º Learn to operate machining equipment using CNC controls
    º Mechanical assembly including, riveting, hardware assembly, grinding, deburring
    º Other duties as assigned
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Not applicable
  • Skills and Experience:
    High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of electro-mechanical assembly experience. Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings for assembly, electrical wiring and testing per instruction. One year experience with circuit board component soldering and wiring harness assembly. Three years’ experience in machine shop and fabricating using various metal working equipment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Good communication and organizational skills required. Incumbent needs to have experience and ease with using hand tools (i.e. scales, screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters, crimpers, multi-meters, etc.) Working knowledge of Windows applications and basic keyboarding ability.

Mechanical Tech (TEMP)

  • Summary:
    Responsible for performing electro-mechanical assembly and inspection functions of varying complexity using written or verbal work instructions.
  • Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
    º Following and working IAW written and verbal instruction
    º Mechanical assembly of parts by riveting, drilling, hand assembly dexterity
    º Initiating and performing simple inspection of parts
    º Learning to operate all shop floor equipment/hand tools for assembly;
    º Self-inspecting parts using micrometers, tape measure, calipers
    º Ensuring all required quality procedures are followed and proper documentation of paperwork is accomplished
    º Maintaining an organized and clean work station;
    º Adhering to safety procedures and wearing personal protection equipment (PPE) as required by job assignment;
    º Following all company guidelines regarding conduct, safety, and documentation where required
    º Other duties as assigned.

Must have experience using basic measuring devices such as micrometers and dial calipers. Experience riveting and drilling as well as deburring of parts. Incumbent needs to have experience and ease with using hand tools (i.e. scales, screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters, crimpers, etc.) Basic keyboarding ability.

Human Resource Assistant

  • Summary:
    Performs and / or assists in all areas of Human Resources as outlined below as well as perform other duties as assigned to support all Business Administration activities:
  • º Enter and maintain payroll rates, PTO accruals, taxes, deductions and bank accounts and hours in Paycor
    º Check 401k reports for accuracy and enter into Voya website
    º Record, update, pay and monitor H.SA contributions and ER matches
    º Confidentially coach / counsel employees who come to HR with work related issues
    º Document all hiring, terminating, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution
    º Schedule and coordinate with new hires on background check and drug testing
    º Recruit and screen candidates for employment based on hiring managers job description and requirements
    º Schedule and conduct interviews
    º Update and maintain Skill Matrix
    º Assist in ISO audit for human resource section
    º Gather compensation / benefit information for new positions through multiple resources of valid surveys
    º Stay informed on compliance issues and attend continuing education to stay current
    º Plan, develop, and coordinate the execution of corporate policies, procedures, and operations; monitor laws and compliance to policies, procedures, and regulations
    º Distribute all mandatory notices for all benefits, such as 401k and health
    º Send Medicare notice within 60 days of insurance renewal
    º Report to CMS regarding creditable prescription drug coverage
    º Maintain all employee contract and benefit files (paper and digital)
    º Maintain employee training files / records
    º Maintain all employee benefit elections and record all changes in all necessary places, such as insurance, payroll and GSS
    º Review all insurance (benefit) bills for accuracy
    º Process paperwork for 401k set up for new hires, loans and distributions
    º Perform annual fiduciary review and manage and report all 401k plan activities, including additions, changes, and deletions and communicate to employees
    º Compile census data for 401k and preparation of 5500
    º File excise tax required by Affordable Care Act
    º Work with insurance brokers to get plan options for management approval
    º Gather options for benefits and conduct open enrollment
    º Communicate all employee elections to the necessary insurance entities by deadline
    º Calculate employee deductions for insurance and update in Paycor
    º Prepare 1095's to distribute to all employees
    º Manage Form Fire census information and questionnaire on insurance benefits
    º Review and submit census information for MEWA participation
    º Conduct Open Enrollment
    º Schedule Biometric testing
    º Research other health programs to implement (now being pushed by BWC)
    º Plan company activities such as company lunches, company parties, charity events, etc.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None
  • Skills and Experience:
    This position requires 1-3 years of work experience in Human Resources. Initially this position will primarily perform human resource functions, but will also be expected to assist in accounting activities such as accounts payable, audits and filing. Will also be required to help with front desk. Company is growing and eventually human resources will be the primary responsibility, so prefer someone who is looking for a career in human resources. Knowledge of mandatory reporting requirements and recruiting experience is a plus. Must be able to successfully navigate in a windows environment, be competent in Word and Excel software applications as well as be familiar with e-mail systems. Must possess and practice effective communication skills, both verbal and written, have proven organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Must exhibit a high degree of integrity and reliability. Confidentiality is essential in this position.
